The Comer Property Group has submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) to Aberdeen City Council for a proposed development at Leggart Brae.

The PoAN follows the allocation of the site for up to 150 homes within the Aberdeen Local Development Plan (LDP) 2023 that was adopted by Aberdeen City Council earlier this year.

The purpose of this website is to inform interested parties about the consultation on the proposed development.

Comer will host an in-person drop-in event on Thursday 12 October at South Saint Nicholas Kincorth Church, Kincorth Circle between the hours of 3-8pm. The event will provide an opportunity for local residents and other stakeholders to directly engage with members of the project team. We look forward to welcoming you.

To take account of feedback from the first event, we will host a second event at a later date in the autumn. We will update on precise arrangements for the second event in due course.

Comments received will help inform design proposals for the final submission that will be made to Aberdeen City Council for their determination.

For those not able to attend an event, we will also upload the consultation boards on this website and welcome comments until Friday 1 December 2023.

Please note that any comments made to Comer, are not representations to the planning authority. Upon submission of an application, there will be an opportunity to make such representation to the planning authority.

The Comer Property Group would like to thank you for visiting this website and for any engagement you have in the development of the proposals over the months.

About Us

Comer Homes Group is a subsidiary of the Comer Property Group, a privately owned property company now employing 1,500 people, that was established over 30 years ago by brothers Brian and Luke Comer, originally from Co. Galway, Ireland. Over the decades, it has become one of the United Kingdom’s largest and most successful property companies. It now has interests that extend into Europe and the United States, and a portfolio that spans everything from luxurious residential homes and retirement living to retail parks, hotels, and farmland. Comer Homes Group in particular is perhaps best known for acquiring landmark buildings and transforming these into characterful homes, while systematically restoring, preserving, and enhancing the original structure. The Group’s ability to bring new life to such buildings has been recognised internationally, where it has received numerous awards and commendations.
